Well, I can't really do much here because I don't use this extension and have no experience with it. I also don't know who the maintainer of the extension is, and if it doesn't have one it may need a fork.
The fact is, it's the responsibility of the extension to extend Epyrus, and more importantly it's the responsibility of the add-on's author to keep the extension updated so that it works properly with Epyrus. If whoever uploaded it failed to do that, naturally it will fall behind and be a bit messy.
I technically only maintain Epyrus itself. Issues with extensions and the way the add-ons site is managed are way out of scope for me. I don't know if anyone is centrally managing things, authors update their add-ons or let them fall behind, and I don't know if I should have a policy of delisting add-ons that aren't updated to be compatible with newer application versions after a certain period of time. I don't believe I've discussed such a thing with the community yet.
The Epyrus add-ons site is at this point a best-effort offering, provided as a courtesy for anyone wanting to test things out like you have or possibly create forks of extensions.
